I am so excited! Today the most free, and most spectacular weight loss website, sparkpeople.com shared and featured my weight loss story on the front page of their website today. As you all know, I have been using sparkepople and their amazing tools since day one of my weight loss journey, and I truly believe that I would not have been able to lose the weight if it was not for the support, encouragement and inspiration that this website gave to me, and give me on a daily basis.

I am truly blessed. Please take a look at the story that Sparkepople shared.  I will have another update later on today about the AWESOME 5k that my wife and I participated in this weekend. It was a blast and we had so much fun, but for now, please head on over the the article on Sparkpeople :)

What Do I Weigh Wednesday 09/19/2012

Another week has passed us by, my how time flies. Last week was a bit of a bummer for me because I was still stuck in my plateau, and while I was totally fine with how things were going, there is nothing quite as satisfying (except for when new clothes fit) than seeing the scales move in the right direction. Going in to today, I knew that there was a good chance of me still being in this plateau. Half Marathon Training – Week 1 Day 2

When I woke up this morning I can honestly say that I was excited that today would see me complete day 2 of my half marathon training. It is so nice to wake up knowing that you have a plan in place when it comes to your daily exercise, however I was not excited about the weather forecast. Rain, Storms, and strong winds. Fortunately the rain held off until I got home, but the wind was blowing hard during my run, and the chill in the air told me that fall was well on its way. Lets see how I done today.

What Do I Weigh Wednesday – 09/12/2012

Has it really been a week already since the last time I done this? Man, where does time go? I guess it just flies when you are having fun working out :) . This past week has been pretty good to in all areas except weight loss :( . I was truly hoping that i was not stuck in another plateau, but it seems as if I am. While I am a little disappointed, I understand that this is all part of the process, so I am going to shake things up a little bit and will keep moving forward.  Continue reading

C25K Challenge – Week 6 Day 2

I cannot believe how quick the days and weeks seem to be going by here lately. I now have just 25 days until my first 5K, and while I am doing well when it comes to my training, I now realize that I started my training too late. I should have given myself a buffer just in case I need to repeat a day or two, but as it stands, my training will be going right down to the wire, and after today’s run so doubts are starting to creep in.
