Mmmmmm, coffee. I love the stuff, and it is one thing that I refuse to give up. Coffee can actually fit in with a healthy lifestyle if you drink it in moderation (I drink one cup per day and adjust my water in take accordingly). So if you like coffee, what type do you like, and does the personal description next to your drink describe you accurately? Organic Food….It’s What’s For Dinner
This graphic really sums up just how you cannot afford to eat unhealthy foods. For far too long, the general public has been told or taught that eating healthy, nutritious food is just too expensive, when in fact it is far cheaper to eat a healthy balanced diet. Not only will you save money now with the upfront cost, but also later on down the line when you do not have to spend thousands of dollars to treat diabetes, heart disease and other obesity related illnesses. Make the smart choice and ditch the junk.

My Interview with Pro Skier Keri Herman
I Recently had the opportunity to interview world class, pro skier, Keri Herman about her recent successes and her journey down the slopes to the 2014 winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. While this is a little break from the norm for me on here, it is still very much related to fitness, and health. Keri is at the absolute top of her game, and it is not by luck that she is where she is. Hard work, discipline, and fitness training have helped here reach the summit. I totally forgot to write “What Do I Weigh Wednesday” yesterday. The labor day weekend has thrown me off course this week. Just as soon as I head back home from taking my “ahem” little angels to school, I will jump right on it. For now though, here is a pic of the awesome sunrise this morning!
