What Do I Weigh Wedne….Thursday

Well time flied when you are having fun I guess. I completely forgot abut posting this yesterday. My days have been off this week due to the labor day weekend (that’s my excuse at least) but I am here now and I am ready to share my current weight and all the other fun, and the not so fun stuff that has been going on since my post last Wednesday. Lets check out what the scales said.

Well…..no picture today of the scales i’m afraid, but I can tell you that they said that my current weight is 231.8lbs. This means that since last Wednesday I have dropped 1.4lbs. I am glad that I am over my plateau, because I really do hate them, and I am really happy with the 1.4lb loss because last week after I posted my first vlog my entire family came down with a nasty cold! I did not get to workout until Sunday, and even then it was a struggle, but I am now glad to say that the cold is now almost completely gone and the workouts and life are moving on. Woo Hoo!

I am still plugging away at both P90X and Turbo Jam, because i absolutely love both of them. Those two programs are having a massive impact on my life , along with good clean eating and clean drinking. I a also pleased to say that my first ever Turbo Jam challenge group are seeing great results too! 3 members of my group have lost a combined 14lbs in 2 weeks, which is just phenomenal! I am so proud of my group members.

I have also decided that I am going to start running again, but I am going to take it up a notch. Instead of running a 5K, I am going to be training for a half marathon :) and I am so super excited about it. I went for my first run yesterday and it was a killer because I have not done any running since my last official 5K race on August 11th, but I ran 3.1 miles (5K) in 35m:15s which is a new record for me. I shaved one minute off of my previous best, but more on that later as I will be making a separate post about my training for the half marathon.\

Thats about it for now folks. I am going to get ready to complete my first workout of the day, which is P90X! I am almost done with phase 2 of the program and I will soon be able to take more measurements to see how I am progressing! Thanks so much for all of the continued support! You guys are awesome.

Hope everyone has an amazing day,

  1. Good job on the run! I’ll get there, if not as fast. No half-marathon for me, though. Even at my fittest back in the day the most I ever did was the Aloha run two years in a row, which I think is just over 8 mi. I was definitely dragging by the end. The most I’d ever run up to that point was probably 4 miles a few times.
