I don’t know about you guys, but to me, one of the most rewarding and most beautiful feelings in life is when you can fit into some new clothes. Weight loss is a wonderful thing, and seeing the scale drop little by little each week is a great feeling, but seeing changes in your body, and being able to wear smaller size clothes is even better. When I started my weight loss journey back in October of 2011, I was wearing 3X and 4X shirts and tops, but not any more. Yesterday I was able to go out to the store to buy some new shirts, and I was expecting to buy size XL, but I thought to myself, why don’t I just try a L, you know, just in case, and to my amazement, the Large t-shirt fit!
I could not believe it! Me in a Large for the first time in my adult life. It was quite the beautiful feeling knowing that there will no longer be an X on the clothes labels for me any more. Here is a comparison shot of me in a 4x shirt and the picture above side bu side so you can see the difference.
Thanks once again for all of your continued support! You guys are the best,
All the best,
Brett

This transformation is amazing! I am so glad that I was able to share it with you through this blog, you really are an inspiration!
Seriously Brett, that is fantastic.
I really wish there was more publicity given to people like you who turn their lifestyles around. Instead we are fed the usual load of rubbish from so called celebrities with their yo-yo diets, usually on the back of a release of their DVD. Rant over, well done mate.
Thanks, John. I really appreciate the kind words. It really is a shame that so many people look up to these so called ‘superstar’ and that they buy into these fad diets without realizing that all they are doing is throwing their money away. It is my wish that one day people will realize that the fad diets do not work. It is up to us to help people realize the only way to be healthier is to eat clean and workout
Thanks for the continued support,
All the best,
Brett

Awesome weight loss. And I love the ninja t-shirt!
ROCK ON! WTG!
Thanks for checking out my blog Love your blog – very inspirational! I too am enjoying fitting into smaller sizes. Life is good!
Did you ever measure your chest size before and on going? Your neck size transformation….is amazing. Look at your arms…what a major difference. I saved my size 24 pants so I don’t lose focus on what I don’t want to go back to. You look like a charmer in both pictures…love that smile. Having a lighter you is doing wonders for your overall health and wellbeing. Keep up the awesome work! I was curious to know. Do you have access skin at all from the weight you have lost?
I never did take measurements before I started, it was hard enough for em to take the beginning pictures
, but in hindsight I wish i had taken measurements now. I do not have any excess skin from the weight loss, though I will admit that it was a concern of mine. I think that because I have done a variety of training programs, it helped me with that. P90X is doing wonders for me.
I took measurements after I had lost 15 lbs. I’m happy I did when I did. I feel cause I have been working out and losing weight, I’m still able to see that I have gone down more inches than when I lost weight back in 2008. Back then I didn’t start working out until I had lost 50 lbs. To expand on that, when I weighed 214 lbs I was wearing a size 16 pants back in 2008. Currently I’m 223 lbs and I’m wearing a size 16 pants. Even in the smaller cut design. Now I’m lifting weights 3 times a week along with cardio daily. I’m praying I don’t have the belly hang over when I get to goal which is 70 more lbs.
