Hi everyone. I really hope all of you are doing great and that you are staying cool during this heat wave. This week (for me at least) just seems to keep on getting better and better. After being in a plateau for just a little over 4 weeks, I have finally lost weight again (bye bye pleateau) and I am excited to say that I have started my own business. I cannot wait to share all the details with you. Click on through to keep on reading.
Plateaus really suck. I hate them with a passion. Unfortunately I have now been through 3 of them, and all of them have varied in the length of time they have lasted. This last one went on for 4 weeks! 4 weeks of the scale not budging an inch. It can be quite disheartening to see the same numbers on the scales when you know you have been working your butt off, but I know that plateaus are just a part of the process and that they do eventually break. This morning I figured it would not hurt to jump on the scales, just to see if things had changed, and when I did, this is what I saw:
Amazing, this is a full 3lb loss since Monday! To say I was happy is an understatement. I literally shouted “YEAH BABY” as loud as I could and scared my kids half to death in the process. This means that since October 24th 2011, I have lost a full 94lbs, and my BMI has dropped to 31.6, down from 44.1. I am now just 1.6 points away from being considered overweight and not obese.
Now on to the news about my new job. As you can see from the picture above, I am now a Beachbody coach. What does this mean? Well it just means that I really want to help others lose weight, and become a healthier version of themselves. But why Team Beachbody you ask?
Well there are a number of reasons, but the main two are that I totally believe in their products, and the support system is second to none. I have been doing P90X for just 10 days, and I am honestly already seeing changes in my body and how I feel. I am getting some definition in my arms and I have more energy than ever before. I am also a firm believer in products like Shakeology as well.
As for the support group, well it really is second to none. One of the most important things you can do when you are trying to lose weight is to surround yourself with others who want the same thing. You will find thousands of people who participate on the various forums at beachbody.com. Not to mention that if you sign up (hopefully through me) you will have access to your own coach (me) and you can ask me for help whenever you want. I will have all the tools necessary from Beachbody to help you achieve all of your wildest dreams.
Now I do just want to say that my blog will NOT become a sales pitch for Beachbody products. While I am now starting my own business by trying to get others to try the products, my blog will not turn into one big sales pitch. I may talk about the products as I use them so that I can share my own personal experiences, but I will never force things on you, my loyal readers.
However if you do decide that you want to give one of the awesome workouts or any of the awesome Beachbody products a try, or if you decide that you too would like to become a coach and make lots of money, please just let me know and I will be happy to help. Not only can you be a part of something awesome, but you will also be making money, and saving money (%25 discount) off of their awesome products! I have links to my Beachbody stores on the right hand side of my page.
On that note it is time to end this post! I am so happy about my plateau going away!! Just 6lbs to lose before I hit the magical 100lbs lost mark! Thanks so much for all of your amazing support! You guys are AMAZING!
All the best,
Brett

Great news! Plateaus indeed suck…. have lost 30 pounds now and want to lose another 50 at least… slow progress… at 255 now… losing about 1.3 pounds or so a week….finding I dont need as much food and trying now to eat UP TO 1500 is difficult… but doable of course..
Tell me, you said always eat your 1500 calories or the body stores fat… what of the anorexic set who do not eat and LOSE all the time, never gaining??? I am cornffused… LOL…. wha’s new, huh?
So glad you’ve past that plateau and congrats on your new business!
Thanks, I am so excited that I have got past that hurdle
Now I am really pumped about Beachbody and trying to get that to take off
Hope all is well with you
Good job getting past the plateau, I’ve been stuck around 187 all summer!
Thanks for the kind words. Sorry that you are stuck in a plateau too! Just keep on doing what you are doing an it will break soon!
