It’s so simple but seems to fall by the way side all the time! I have committed to this kind of eating, though of course sometimes have a treat – but one of the interesting things I have learnt is that in natural foods, things like fat and sugar don’t occur together – meat has fat but no sugar, fruits have sugar but no fat – when you combine the two in chocolate and ice cream and such, it’s such a delicious terrible mix for us! We can’t tell just how much energy we are getting and we always want more! So, what I try to do is avoid foods that have both fat and sugar together as much as I can! Not perfect, but a pretty good and easy guideline
