Rethink Your Drink!

This is really quite disturbing. I know I have written posts about sugar content in popular drinks before, but it always amazes me to actually see just how much sugar is in some of these drink. Drink your water my friends! Your body will thank you for it!

  1. I’m either water, black coffee or unsweetened tea. I need the caffeine, but can live without the sugar. I’ll get that from fresh fruit.

    • I’m right there with you! I could not live without coffee an drink a cup a day. I am strictly water, milk and coffee guy now. Remember though, 1 cup of coffee negates 3 cups of water due to it being a diuretic. As for the sugar, same again! Super sweet and packed with other nutrients!

    • Coffee is not bad for you :) I drink it all the time. Just remember that 1 cup of coffee negates 3 cups of water because it is a diuretic. So if you drink a cup of coffee, drink more water than you would normally so that you can make up the difference :)

  2. Amazing how many of our facebook followers were unaware of this too! And they thought they were addicted to this stuff because of caffeine! After doing a little more research too, found out that even some bottled water has additives which include sugar!!!

    • Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, I really appreciate it. I had no clue about the added sugar in some bottled water. I always try to stay clear of bottled water (mainly because I do not like the trash it generates) but I will try to stay away from them even more now. I will have to look into it and will write an article about it. Hope you have an awesome day.

      All the best,
      Brett

PS do you happen to have a link to your FB page? Would love to friend you guys on there.

      • I must admit, I am intrigued by your product. I am looking into weight training, and will be starting soon. Is this something that is available is stores around the country? I may have to get my hands on one and incorporate it into my workouts. Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated! Would you mind if I linked my blow back to your website in the sites we like page?

        All the best,
        Brett

      • Link away!
Unfortunately, I don’t have a complete list of retailers or clubs that carry our products since we have other companies that distribute our product. If you’re just starting out I would suggest weights 9-15lbs. Since the weight is evenly distributed, exercises are a little more challenging than just using regular dumbbells.
Weight training is essential, glad to hear you are adding it to your routine! We have a lot of exercises on our site too and maybe some of your local gyms will have classes that incorporate the Body Bar.
Thanks for your support! Email info@bodybar if you ever need anything!
